This is why we have come up with our own ethical framework and best practice policies
Unpacking the Challenges of AI in Education
The integration of AI into our educational systems, while beneficial, comes with its own set of challenges:
We recognise these challenges and are committed to actively addressing them to ensure the ethical use of AI in our work.
- Content Overload – The risk of content saturation leading to fatigue and demotivation.
- The Risk of Complacency – The potential for AI to encourage a lack of critical thinking, a skill that is increasingly important in our age of rapid information dissemination.
- Algorithmic Bias & Misinformation – The possibility of bias and misinformation if the AI algorithms are not trained on representative data.
- Data Privacy & Security – The concerns surrounding data privacy and security as AI systems collect and analyse large amounts of data, including sensitive information.
- Human Interaction – The understanding that while AI can provide personalised feedback, it cannot replace the social and emotional learning that comes with human interaction.
We recognise these challenges and are committed to actively addressing them to ensure the ethical use of AI in our work.
